Potpourri of Images

Oh my...March came and left.  It was a fun month with a mix of photo shoots.  I took photos of a sweet little preemie, a beautiful girl expecting her first child while her husband is away in Iraq, a group of amazing soon to be Graduates, head shots of a talented woman for her company's website, an adorable baby boy, and I managed to sneak in some shots of my own little girl and bubbly little niece.  Through it all, I've been pondering on "my style."  What is my style as a photographer?  I am a tee shirt and jeans kind of girl.  Yet there are those moments I love to get all dressed up.  I love being simple.  Yet there are times I want to create and set the stage in such a way.  This carries over in my photography.  I love simple precious moments that aren't staged, but caught.  I also love to pick the colors, arrange the subjects, and add elements in a photo that make it creative and fun.  I want my clients to be who they are in their photos and it is also fun to create a unique shot for them.  That is the kind of photographer I am!

Tutu and Attitude!

This little lady took a lot of energy to chase around.  Her and her tutu were on the move the whole time.

The Court at Carmel Kids

I absolutely loved this Barbie Party at Carmel Kids!  Pink and black are the perfect colors.  SugarPalooza puts on amazing parties and creates scrumptious candy buffets that are a perfect treat!  It was so much fun capturing a few images of it all.

New Year Wedding

It is about time I posted something new.  The holidays were a joyful blur.  2011 came, and I had the privilege to start the new year off by capturing images for Jame's and Ashley's Wedding.  Blessing to them as they begin the new year by beginning their "Happily Ever After."

I have to thank Tracey Hedge for being an excellent mentor and teacher as she came along with me during the wedding.  I appreciate her.  I am also thankful to the Montague family for letting me be a part of their special day.

Little Girl in White

This young lady is wearing a dress she wore in her aunt's wedding.  She is not only adorable on the outside, but the inside too.  Posing came natural as she patiently posed for each picture while her cousins ran around in the background getting dirty.

A Girl and a Guitar

It was my pleasure to photograph this beautiful young lady.  She has a talent for playing the guitar and is such a sweet girl.
